What is AD*Star®?

AD*STAR® is the renowned block bottom sack made without adhesives from coated polypropylene fabric – patented worldwide by Starlinger.

What is the shelf life of AD*STAR® sacks?

The bags have guaranteed life of over 6 months but we have seen satisfactory usage of our bags over 12 months as well.

What is a Droptest?

Filled sacks are dropped from 2.5 meters flat on the ground to check bustage.

Are these bags waterproof?

AD*STAR® sacks are water resistant compared to Kraft paper bags.

Are these bags more expensive than Kraft Paper bags?

AD*STAR® sacks are cheaper than Kraft Paper bags.

Are these PP bags biodegradable?

These sacks are biodegradable by using D2W additives.

What is a Denier?

Weight of 9000 meters rolled yarn is called Denier

What is Tensile strength/Tenacity?

The longitudinal stress required to break a prescribed specimen divided by the original cross sectional area at the point of rupture (usually expressed in lbs. per square inch) within the gauge boundaries sustained by the specimen during the test. The force required to break the material in question is called tensile strength,as used in yarn manufacture and textile engineering, tenacity denotes the strength of a yarn or a filament of given size. Numerically it is the breaking force in grams per denier unit of yarn or filament size (grams per denier, gpd). Tenacity equals breaking strength (grams) divided by denier. Generally synonymous to ultimate tensile strength.

What is Tear Strength?

Force required initiating or continuing a tear in a material under specified

Conditions:The force acting substantially parallel to the major axis of the test specimen.

What is Density?

Weight per unit volume of given substance. No of picks in 10x10cm of woven fabric is called density

What is Elongation?

The frictional increase in length of material stressed in tension. %age ratio of change in length to original length of yarn is called Elongation

Which part of the world can you ship AD*STAR® sacks ?

We can ship all over the world^
